It had been the dream of many locals and cottagers of this community for decades. Oh, to have a place to go to, in town (other than of course the beautiful beaches), where one could exploit the warm summer days & evenings of this beautiful lake front community to it’s fullest, and not have to travel 20, 30, even 50 miles to enjoy a relaxing game of golf. Finally in May of 2000, in joining with the celebration of the new millennium, Manipogo Golf & Country Club opened its gates. After 3 years of hard work and dedication, a small group of 18 individual investors were successful in realizing their dream. With the first 9 holes in operation, we are continuing with our goal to complete the back 9 in years to come. We sincerely hope that, with the community and surrounding areas support, Manipogo Golf & Country Club will prove to be a very valuable asset for both the investors involved and for the community as a whole.

We, the founding shareholders, dedicate the anticipated success and longevity of our course to the town of St. Laurent, Manitoba.
